[Gallery visit 2.] The Picture Gallery

The Picture Gallery was filled floor to ceiling with art by various artist. All of the work that was displayed was up for sale. The artwork that stood out to me the most I photographed and researched more about the artist and more of the work that they produced.

One of the artists that stood out to me the most was Dennis Orme Shaw. The fade from a scenic painting to an array of colours that compliment the painting beautifully. I find Shaw's work quite unique with his use of vibrant colours.
Dennis Orme Shaw was born in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone in 1944 and studied at the Belfast College of Rt (1962-1967).  He has since been presented wioth the Silver Award Medal from the Royal Ulster Academy and is exhibiting widely across Ireland.

The Picture Gallery was a great experience due the wide variety of artist that it carries - its a great place to go for research to get amazing artist names to look into their line of work.
